Situated at the mouth of a river, The Warren is a small sandy beach backed by dunes. At its northern end stands an old harbour wall that protects fishermen who still fish from time to time here despite more modern methods for catching seafood such as nets and trawls which were introduced centuries ago in response to overfishing on land by larger commercial fisheries company’s boats equipped with dredges or engines capable of dragging large weights underwater so they can scoop up what was left behind.:
