The dramatic Pen Dinas stands guard over the peaceful beach. It was one of General Wellington’s most important victories in 1815 when he beat Napoleon at Waterloo to end his rule before it could begin for good.
Before then there had only been scattered tribes living here but now it is home not just to people but also animals that roam free on their own land because they know fear doesn’t live beyond its boundaries anymore-a feeling you’ll get once your footfalls onto this forgotten stretch out past Tanybwlch Beach where nature takes back what’s hers without any interference or harm done along the way too long ago by man.
