Stansted Park is a 1800-acre park in the South Downs National Park that contains beautiful landscaped grounds and ancient woodland. Stansted Park, the Arboretum, and its lovely contents were given to the public in 1983 by the 10th Earl of Bessborough. The State Rooms are set up to resemble if the 10th Earl was still at home, providing visitors with a feeling of stepping back in time.
