The small town of Seahouses lies on the Northumberland coast halfway between Bamburgh Castle and Beamount. It has excellent amenities for both tourists and locals, making it an ideal destination to visit or live in. Today there are a number of attractions that visitors can enjoy including its picturesque harbour designed by George Steffanell around the 1870s with many beautiful boats docked at its berths from where fishermen head out into deep waters every day during summer months bringing back their catch so others will have fresh seafood.:
