Gwynver Beach is a hidden treasure located at the base of steep granite cliffs, accessed by an adventurous but well-beaten path. The waves are always large here and offer one of Cornwall’s best surf conditions in the summer months when lifeguards provide cover to novice swimmers from their perch on top lookout rock – they can give advice too! Gwyn Ber Sat (‘gwine vanz day’); also known simply as ‘The Beaches’ or more formally designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).:
