The small bay, Carrick is an excellent spot for those who like to take in the natural beauty.
It has a sandy beach that stretches along its northeastern end and sits separated from larger Fleet Bay by 200 meters long rock wall – making it feel much more secluded than other areas of Waterford coastline which often have shops or restaurants on them as well (though there aren’t any here).
The views over rugged headlands make this especially worth visiting if you’re looking at getting away with some outdoor adventuring!
